POLICE OFFICER
The Village of Fremont Police Department will be accepting applications at this time to establish an eligibility list for future vacancies and to fill 1-part time position.
The position will be part time (approximately 20 hours per week). Applicants must be willing to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, possess a valid drivers license with a good driving record, no felony convictions or domestic abuse convictions, have an associate degree or 60 college credits and have the physical ability to perform the essential functions of a police officer. Applicants who will meet these requirements by June 15, 2011 may also apply. Applicants are required to have fluent computer skills and be familiar with Microsoft Windows/Office programs.
Duties will include, but are not limited to general patrol, investigations, courtroom testimony, and community policing programs.
The selection process may include any or all of the following: written, oral, physical, drug, psychological, exams as well as an extensive background investigation.
Their will be a non refundable fee of $15.00 due at time of written test payable to the Village of Fremont.
